As a long-term resident of Colac. I am passionate about the place I live. I get excited when I hear visitors say what a beautiful town we have. The lake, the memorial square, the gardens, the Otway’s and the coast are our biggest assets.

I have been involved in sporting groups and child care committees for many years. Joining the Chamber of Commerce as a committee member was a natural progression for me and compliments my Key Account Management role with Barwon Water.

I joined the chamber to be involved with the business community. This role provides a great opportunity to be involved in the future planning of the town and to ensure that future generations can enjoy the area as much as I have. Retaining youth, young families and promoting business development in the area is a key to our growth. At the same time, we must maintain the amenity and natural beauty of the area.

I have lived in Colac for nearly 20 years, in that time I have seen major changes happening in business and the local community.

The pace of change is getting faster and organisations like the Colac and District Chamber of Commerce need to exist to assist the business sector to achieve its maximum potential.

I have been the Board President of the Colac Chamber for nearly 2 years and in that time, I have been honoured to oversee the Chambers growth from being a part time Board to having an office with staff that can facilitate the day to day running of the Chamber that in turn will have major benefits for Colac’s business community.

The aim of the Chamber is to become a one stop for all the businesses of Colac to achieve ultimate success in the running of their business with the knowledge that the Colac & District Chamber of Commerce of Industry is there for them.
